迷失"在声音制作方面的一些细节。当时音响剪辑师Tom de gorter和后期混音师Frank Morrone与Scott Weber共同讨论音响作为一个独特的系列与充满张力的戏剧和天马行空的科幻片相结合的可能。专题节目拍摄的地点在夏威夷，但编辑和混音的地点在布拉维斯塔声影业位于加州伯班克的迪斯尼工作室。
不同于大多数传统电视节目背景音乐反复的使用，迷失每一集的背景音乐都有各种不同的方式来体现场景的需要。要注意的是声音会达到何种程度？
“在绝大部分，我们使用的5.1家庭影院系统是取得THX认证的MK S-150和MX-350低音炮，与天行者，索尼，华纳使用的一样，当然迪斯尼也同样采用”原文如下
